On one of my first days in New York I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. I remember feeling so excited and hopeful about my new beginning and also terrified!
Fast forward and I’m coming up on my 9th year living in NYC. It’s been such a ride and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So I wanted to spend some time (12 hours) recreating one of the landmarks that welcomed into the city.
I started with drawing the outline with pencil and then with three different size micron pens, stippled the entire drawing. I left the background blank to symbolize that anything can be on the other side, it’s up to you (the viewer) to decide.
